"Dear John" -Nicholas Sparks

"Dear John" -Nicholas Sparks (WARNER BOOKS)

I still remember the excitement when I first met Nicholas Sparks in NC, the U.S. I was an international student at UNCW. I chose the university just becasue I wanted to stay in the same place where he mentioned in his books.

"A Walk to Remember" was my first book of his. And it was the very first book I read in English when I was a high school student.
I read it using dictionary and I hardly concentrated on the story then. But I felt his gentle and peaceful character from each word. It has been one of the most favorite books since I read it for the first time.

So you will see, it is nutural that I chose his book for my first book review in this blog.

****************

John Tyree's life has changed since he met Savannah Lynn Curtis. They shared wonderful time, and he knew that she was the girl of his dreams. They didn't doubt their future till 9/11 changed the world....

"Dear John" broke my heart into a million pieces. It was sad, but sweet at the same time. Nicholas Sparks tells us what true love really meant.

That was fabulous. I really loved Savannah's letter part. She wrote her letters with beautiful words and lots of love. I couldn't stop crying.
